Manoel de Oliveira (1908 – 2015) was a portuguese filmmaker and screenwriter, with a deep connection with the city of Porto, where he lived and worked. The first retrospective of Manoel de Oliveira's complete body of work happened there, during November and December of 2015, organised by the Porto City Hall, together with Serralves. During these two months his works were screened at several cinemas, with an overall of 38 sessions, presented by diferent speakers, who were somehow linked to Oliveira's work.
